How to Choose the Right Construction

Braided 2 inch hose is rated at only 4.0 MPa (1SN) or 7.0 MPa (2SN) and is used for return and low-pressure transfer lines. Pressure service requires 4SP (16.5 MPa) or 4SH (25 MPa). Above 250 bar at this bore there is no standard four-spiral solution — the circuit is normally split into two smaller lines or uses rigid pipe.
