PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
R7 Resin Hose — 350 bar at 1/4 inch in a 30 mm Bend
The YIBO R7 is a thermoplastic hose: a nylon inner tube, one or two layers of steel wire braid, and a polyurethane cover. It is the body for tight, high-pressure work where a rubber hose cannot bend.
The table lists 8 bores from 5 mm to 25 mm in two builds: the slimmer build runs 35.0 MPa at 5 mm down to 10.0 MPa at 25 mm, and the heavier build runs 35.0 MPa at 6 mm down to 12.0 MPa at 25 mm, on a larger outside diameter.
The figure that sells this hose is the bend radius: 30 mm at the 5 mm bore and 40 mm at 6 mm. A rubber two-braid body on the same 5 mm bore needs 90 mm and carries 41.5 MPa, so R7 trades 65 bar for 60 mm of routing space.

WHY THIS HOSE
Six Reasons a Resin Hose Wins the Tight Job
The table carries two builds for most bores, so the first decision is which build, not which bore.
30 mm Bend at 5 mm Bore
The tightest bend on this page, on a hose still rated 35.0 MPa (350 bar) with 140 MPa burst. That combination is why R7 exists.
Two Builds, One Bore
At 10 mm bore the slimmer build is 22.5 MPa on a 15.9 mm outside diameter, and the heavier build is 29.0 MPa on 18.0 mm. Choose pressure or choose diameter, not both.
Nylon Tube, PU Cover
A nylon core holds pressure in a thin wall, and the polyurethane cover takes abrasion without the bulk of a rubber cover.
Water and Air as Well as Oil
The published service covers glycol, hydraulic oil, emulsions, water and air, so one body covers a workshop as well as a circuit.
Bend Radius to 220 mm
From 30 mm at the smallest bore to 220 mm at 25 mm on the heavier build, published per row rather than as a single figure.
Fittings Matched to the Tube
Thermoplastic does not take a rubber hose ferrule. Assemblies are built with the fitting system made for this tube and proof-tested before dispatch.
CONSTRUCTION
Nylon, Wire, Polyurethane
Inner Tube
Nylon, bored from 4.8 mm at the 5 mm code to 25.4 mm at 1 inch. The resin core is what allows a thin wall and a 30 mm bend.
Reinforcement
One or two layers of steel wire braid. The second layer is what takes the 6 mm bore from 27.5 to 35.0 MPa, at a cost of 0.6 mm on the outside diameter.
Cover
Polyurethane, outside diameter 9.8 mm at the 5 mm code through to 34.0 mm at 1 inch on either build.
APPLICATIONS
Where R7 Is Used
Machine Tool Clamp Lines
Clamp and fixture circuits at 225 to 290 bar, where 65 to 70 mm of bend radius fits inside the fixture body.
Injection Moulding Frames
Clamp, ejector and core-pull lines at 5 to 10 mm bore, where the frame is closed and only a 30 to 70 mm bend will pass.
Test Rigs & Fixtures
Bench rigs that are re-plumbed often, where a light, tight hose is easier to handle than a rubber one.
Air and Water Circuits
Workshop air and coolant lines, since the published service covers water and air as well as hydraulic oil.
Vehicle Lifts & Garage Equipment
Short high-pressure runs inside lift posts and press frames, at 10 mm bore and 225 bar.
Portable Tools
Where a hose has to bend inside a handle or a housing that was designed around something else.
HIGH-END INDUSTRY DIRECTIONS
What Drives Resin Hose Demand
Almost every R7 enquiry starts with a hose that will not bend, not with one that will not hold.
① Frames Closed Before the Hose compact hose
Trend: Machine frames and fixtures are finished before the line is specified.
Dohose: 30 mm minimum bend at 5 mm bore, against 90 mm for a rubber two-braid body.
② Thin Walls compact hose
Trend: Bundles of clamp, ejector and core-pull lines share one channel.
Dohose: Outside diameter runs 9.8 mm at 5 mm bore to 34.0 mm at 1 inch.
③ One Hose for Oil, Water and Air resin hose
Trend: Workshops want one body on the shelf rather than three.
Dohose: The published service covers glycol, oil, emulsion, water and air.
④ Pressure at Small Bore high pressure hose
Trend: Compact circuits raise pressure rather than adding size.
Dohose: 35.0 MPa at 5 mm on the slimmer build and at 6 mm on the heavier one.
⑤ Abrasion Without Bulk abrasion resistant hose
Trend: Lines dragged across a machine frame wear the cover first.
Dohose: The polyurethane cover resists abrasion in a thinner wall than rubber.
⑥ Traceability traceable hose
Trend: Short resin lines are replaced often, so batch records matter.
Dohose: Batch and test date are marked on the assembly and recorded against the order.

FAQ
R7 Resin Hose — Ten Questions
Slimmer build vs heavier build at the same bore — which one?
At 1/4 inch the slimmer build is rated 27.5 MPa (275 bar) on a 12.7 mm outside diameter with a 40 mm bend, and the heavier build is rated 35.0 MPa (350 bar) on 13.3 mm with the same 40 mm bend. So the heavier build buys 75 bar for 0.6 mm of diameter; if the frame has 0.6 mm to spare, take the pressure.
R7 vs a rubber two-braid hose at 5 mm?
R7 gives the bend, the rubber gives the pressure. At 5 mm bore R7 is rated 35.0 MPa (350 bar) with a 30 mm bend radius, while a 2SN on the same bore is rated 41.5 MPa with 90 mm. If the routing has 90 mm, the rubber hose is the stronger choice.
What is the working pressure of 3/8 inch R7?
Two answers, because the table carries two builds. The slimmer is rated 22.5 MPa (225 bar) on a 15.9 mm outside diameter with a 65 mm bend, and the heavier is 29.0 MPa (290 bar) on 18.0 mm with a 70 mm bend. Burst is 4.0x in both cases.
What is the rating at 1 inch?
The slimmer build at 25 mm bore is rated 10.0 MPa (100 bar) with a 180 mm bend radius, and the heavier build is 12.0 MPa (120 bar) with 220 mm. Both share a 34.0 mm outside diameter, so at that bore the choice is purely pressure against bend radius.
Can R7 carry water and air as well as oil?
Yes. The published service covers glycol, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, emulsions, water and air, with a working window of -40 to +100 ℃ on oil and -40 to +70 ℃ on water. That is why the same hose appears on coolant and air circuits as well as hydraulics.
Will the polyurethane cover survive a machine frame?
Better than a thin rubber cover, which is why it is specified on lift posts and press frames where the hose rubs. It is still a cover, not armour: a 5 mm bore hose has a 9.8 mm outside diameter and will wear through against a sharp edge if it is not sleeved at the rub point.
Why does an R7 assembly fail right at the fitting?
Because the tube is nylon and does not compress. On a 29.0 MPa clamp line a ferrule set for a rubber hose either cuts the core or leaves it unbonded, and the joint then fails in days rather than months. R7 needs its own fitting system, crimped to a recorded setting and proof-tested.
Why does the hose kink at 30 mm?
Because 30 mm is the minimum at 5 mm bore, not a comfortable working radius. At the limit the nylon core ovalises and stays oval, so the symptom is slow clamp response rather than a leak. Lay it out at 45 mm and the line behaves.
Which Chinese manufacturer supplies R7 resin hose in bulk?
YIBO, in Luohe, Henan, supplies 8 bores from 5 mm to 25 mm in two builds, with the fittings made for this tube, crimped and proof-tested in-house. Send the bore and the pressure you need and we confirm which build applies.
What does R7 cost per metre?
Price follows the bore and the build: a 5 mm slimmer-build hose is rated 35.0 MPa and a 25 mm heavier-build hose 12.0 MPa, and they are different articles. Send bore, build, length, end types and quantity for a firm figure the same working day.
