PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Forklift Hydraulic Hose — 75 mm Bend Inside the Mast Channel
A forklift mast is the tightest hose routing in mobile hydraulics: the carriage travels up and down past a fixed channel, and the hose has to fold into a space no wider than a hand. That is a geometry problem before it is a pressure problem.
This page carries our compact single-braid range: 4 codes from 6.3 mm to 12.5 mm, rated 22.5 MPa (225 bar) at the smallest bore down to 16.0 MPa (160 bar) at 1/2 inch, with a 4.0x burst margin and a bend radius from 75 mm.
The 1/4 inch code is the one that matters on most trucks: 22.5 MPa, a 75 mm bend and 0.18 kg/m, on a 13.2 mm outside diameter. Tilt and side-shift circuits run far below 225 bar, so the choice is made on fit and weight, not on the pressure column.

WHY THIS HOSE
Six Reasons the Mast Decides the Hose
Everything on a forklift mast is a compromise between a fixed channel and a moving carriage. These are the four codes that survive it.
75 mm Bend at 1/4 inch
The tightest bend in the range, on the 6.3 mm code. A standard single-braid body needs 100 mm on the same bore, which is 25 mm the mast channel does not have.
0.18 kg/m on a Moving Carriage
The lightest body we build at that bore. On a carriage that travels a hundred times a shift, mass is cycle time as well as load.
13.2 mm Outside at 1/4 inch
Against 14.1 mm for a standard body. In a bundle of three mast lines that difference is the difference between a loom that closes and one that rubs.
225 bar at the Smallest Code
22.5 MPa with 90 MPa burst. Tilt and side-shift circuits run well below that, so the pressure column is headroom rather than the sizing figure.
Four Codes to 1/2 inch
6.3 mm to 12.5 mm covers tilt, side-shift, attachment and clamp lines without a second hose family in the store.
Crimped and Tested
Mast lines are re-made often, so each assembly is crimped to a recorded diameter and proof-tested before dispatch.
CONSTRUCTION
Thin Wall, Real Braid
Inner Tube
Oil-resistant synthetic rubber, bored 6.1 to 6.9 mm at 1/4 inch through to 12.3 to 13.5 mm at 1/2 inch.
Reinforcement
A single compact layer of steel wire braid, giving 22.5 MPa at 6.3 mm and 16.0 MPa at 12.5 mm on a thin wall.
Cover
Abrasion-resistant cover, outside diameter 13.2 mm at 1/4 inch and 20.3 mm at 1/2 inch — the dimension the mast channel actually limits.
APPLICATIONS
Line by Line on a Forklift
Mast Tilt Cylinders
Tilt lines running inside the channel, usually 1/4 or 3/8 inch at 18.0 to 22.5 MPa with a 75 to 90 mm bend.
Side-Shift & Positioner
Attachment circuits on the carriage, where the hose folds on every lift.
Clamp & Rotator Attachments
Paper roll and bale clamps, which add two to four lines to the same channel.
Lift Cylinder Feed
Lift circuit feed lines, usually 1/2 inch at 16.0 MPa with a 130 mm bend where the run leaves the mast.
Reach Truck & Stacker
Narrow-aisle trucks with an even tighter channel than a counterbalance mast.
Service Kits
Four codes cover tilt, side-shift and attachment lines on most 1.5 to 3 tonne trucks.
HIGH-END INDUSTRY DIRECTIONS
What Forklift Fleets Ask For
Forklift hose is bought on fit and on change-out time, not on pressure.
① Narrower Masts compact hose
Trend: Higher lift heights narrow the channel the hose folds into.
Dohose: 75 mm minimum bend at the 1/4 inch code, on a 13.2 mm outside diameter.
② Attachment Count compact hose
Trend: Clamps and rotators add lines to a channel designed for three.
Dohose: Four codes from 6.3 to 12.5 mm, all compact, 0.18 to 0.35 kg/m.
③ Change-Out Time hose assembly
Trend: A mast line is a planned stop, so the assembly has to fit first time.
Dohose: Assemblies are crimped and proof-tested, with the bend radius and outside diameter published before the order.
④ Electric Fleets standard hose
Trend: Battery trucks run quieter and hotter around the mast, with less airflow than an IC truck.
Dohose: The single-braid body keeps the wall thin, which is what fits the channel and sheds heat.
⑤ Standardisation standard hose
Trend: Fleets running three brands want one hose schedule.
Dohose: Four codes cover the common mast and attachment lines across brands.
⑥ Traceability traceable hose
Trend: Mast failures get logged against lift hours.
Dohose: Batch and test date are marked on every assembly and recorded against the order.

FAQ
Forklift Hose — Ten Questions
Compact single-braid vs compact double-braid on a mast?
Mast circuits decide it on fit, not pressure. At 3/8 inch the single-braid code is 18.0 MPa at 0.27 kg/m and the double-braid is 33.0 MPa at 0.43 kg/m, both bending to 90 mm. Tilt and side-shift run far below 180 bar, so the lighter body is the better hose.
This 1SC body vs a standard 1SN on the same bore?
Same pressure, less space. At 1/4 inch both are rated 22.5 MPa, but this body measures 13.2 mm outside and bends to 75 mm, against 14.1 mm and 100 mm for the standard single-braid. On a mast that 25 mm is the whole argument.
What is the working pressure of 3/8 inch on a forklift?
The 10 mm code is rated 18.0 MPa (180 bar, 2,611 psi) with 72.0 MPa (720 bar) minimum burst. Minimum bend radius is 90 mm, mass is 0.27 kg/m, and the outside diameter runs 15.1 to 16.5 mm.
What is the rating at 1/2 inch?
The 12.5 mm code is rated 16.0 MPa (160 bar, 2,321 psi) with 64.0 MPa (640 bar) burst. Bend radius is 130 mm, mass is 0.35 kg/m, and the outside diameter is 20.3 mm — the size where the line usually leaves the mast.
Which codes for tilt and side-shift?
1/4 inch for tilt on most trucks, at 22.5 MPa with a 75 mm bend, and 3/8 inch for side-shift where the flow is higher. Both sit far inside the pressure rating; the choice is made on the channel.
Can this hose be used on the lift circuit?
Only at the 1/2 inch code, which is rated 16.0 MPa (160 bar). Lift pressures on a 2.5 tonne truck sit well under that, but the lift line is usually the one that leaves the mast, so 130 mm of bend radius has to be available at that point.
Why do mast hoses fail at the carriage?
Because the hose folds and unfolds a hundred times a shift against a steel channel. On a 3/8 inch line at 0.27 kg/m the cover wears first, then the braid, and a line that has lost its cover at the fold is a line that will fail inside the month. A sleeve at the fold costs less than a stopped truck.
Why does a mast hose kink instead of leaking?
Because the failure is geometric, not pressure. At 1/4 inch the minimum bend is 75 mm; force the line tighter and the bore ovalises, the tilt cylinder responds slowly and the operator blames the pump. Lay it out at 90 mm and the symptom disappears.
Which Chinese manufacturer supplies forklift mast hose in bulk?
YIBO, in Luohe, Henan, supplies the compact single-braid range in 4 codes from 6.3 mm to 12.5 mm, all crimped and proof-tested in-house, with a bend radius from 75 mm and mass from 0.18 kg/m.
What does forklift hose cost per metre?
Price follows the body: 0.18 kg/m at 1/4 inch, 0.27 kg/m at 3/8 inch, 0.35 kg/m at 1/2 inch. Mast lines are usually bought as a kit per truck, so send the model, the line count and the destination for a firm figure.
