PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Aircraft Refuelling Hose — 20 bar Working, 80 bar Burst
This is a ground fuelling hose for airport refuelling trucks and hydrant equipment: a fuel-resistant rubber liner, a multi-layer high-strength fibre braid and a cover, published in six bores from 32 mm to 102 mm — 1-1/4 to 4 inch — at 20 bar working and 80 bar minimum burst.
The rating is a 4:1 margin, which is what a fuel line is expected to carry rather than an operating pressure. A truck dispenses at a fraction of 20 bar; the burst headroom is there for a closed valve, a thermal expansion and a pump that does not stop when the nozzle does.
The liner is the part that earns its price. Aviation kerosene swells and permeates ordinary rubber, so the published liner is a fuel-resistant compound; the mass runs 1.68 kg/m at the 1-1/4 inch code to 7.50 kg/m at 4 inch, the outside diameter from 48.4 mm to 127 mm, and every code ships on a 61 m length. A 4 inch line at that weight is a two-person lift when it is full, which is why the mass column is on the sheet beside the bore.

WHY THIS HOSE
Six Reasons a Fuelling Line Is Rated This Way
A refuelling truck runs at a few bar. The rating and the liner are about what happens when it does not.
20 bar, 80 bar Burst
All six codes are 20 bar working against 80 bar minimum burst — a flat 4:1 margin from the 32 mm bore at 48.4 mm outside to the 102 mm bore at 127 mm.
Liner Meets the Fuel
The published liner is fuel-resistant and specified against swelling and permeation, which is the failure mode of a hose carrying aviation kerosene rather than a pressure limit.
Mass Rises 4.5×
1.68 kg/m at 1-1/4 inch, 2.85 at 2 inch and 7.50 kg/m at 4 inch: a 61 m length of the largest bore weighs over 450 kg, so handling is part of the specification.
Six Bores to 4 inch
32, 38, 51, 64, 76 and 102 mm cover the truck outlet sizes from 1-1/4 to 4 inch, so a bowser and a hydrant pit can be fitted from one family.
61 m Lengths
Every code is published at 61 m, which is long enough for a truck to reach an aircraft without a joint in the middle of the apron.
Braid, Not Wire
A multi-layer fibre braid carries the 20 bar without the stiffness a wire braid would add, which matters on a hose that is dragged and re-reeled every shift.
CONSTRUCTION
Fuel Liner, Fibre Braid, Cover
Inner Liner
A fuel-resistant rubber liner, published as resistant to swelling and permeation of aviation fuel, in bores from 32 mm to 102 mm.
Reinforcement
Multi-layer high-strength fibre braid, which holds the 20 bar working and the 80 bar burst on every code.
Cover
The outer cover, taking the outside diameter from 48.4 mm at the 1-1/4 inch code to 127 mm at 4 inch.
APPLICATIONS
Where a Fuelling Hose Runs
Refuelling Trucks
The 51 mm code at 2 inch, the usual delivery size on a bowser.
Hydrant Dispensers
The 64 mm code at 83.6 mm outside, on a pit-fed dispenser.
Apron Transfer
The 76 mm code at 4.65 kg/m, where the bore sets the delivery rate.

HIGH-END INDUSTRY DIRECTIONS
What an Airport Buyer Checks
The liner, the length and the paperwork come before the pressure on a fuelling line.
① Permeation Limits fuel hose
Trend: Fuel loss through the wall is measured.
Dohose: Liner published against swelling and permeation.
② Longer Reach refuelling hose
Trend: Trucks serve stands further from the pit.
Dohose: 61 m lengths on all six codes.
③ Bigger Bores large bore hose
Trend: High-flow dispensers need 4 inch.
Dohose: 102 mm at 7.50 kg/m.
④ Drag and Reel flexible hose
Trend: Hose is handled every shift.
Dohose: Fibre braid, 20 bar, 1.68 to 7.50 kg/m.
⑤ Static Control aircraft refuelling hose
Trend: Grounding is checked before every fill.
Dohose: Fuel liner and braid, ends made up to the truck.
⑥ Documented Batches certified hose
Trend: Each length is traced to a test sheet.
Dohose: Tested and marked per length before dispatch.
WHY DOHOSE
Seven Reasons Buyers Stay with Us
Numbers, Not Averages
Every figure for the Aircraft Refueling Hose comes from the per-code table: 32–102 mm, 20 bar working, 80 bar burst.
One Line, Full Range
All 6 codes of the Aircraft Refueling Hose come off the same line, so a mixed order in 32–102 mm ships together.
Length on Demand
Cut-to-length supply for Aircraft Refueling Hose; each code carries its own mass, 1.68–7.5 kg/m, so lifting gear can be sized first.
Ends Done Here
Assemblies of Aircraft Refueling Hose are crimped on site and held at test pressure before they are boxed.

FAQ
Aircraft Refuelling Hose — Ten Questions
Refuelling hose vs a general fuel transfer hose — what changes?
The liner and the margin. This one is published at 20 bar with 80 bar burst and a fuel-resistant liner against swelling and permeation, in six bores from 32 mm to 102 mm, rather than a general purpose hose with a nominal fuel rating.
Can it replace a metal hard pipe on a dispenser?
Where the run is short and the bore matches, yes, and the hose takes the movement a rigid pipe would fight. The 51 mm code at 20 bar is the size most often swapped in, and the 61 m length can be cut to the run.
What is the rating on the 4 inch code?
20 bar working with 80 bar minimum burst, on a 102 mm bore, a 127 mm outside diameter and 7.50 kg per metre, supplied on a 61 m length.
What is the smallest bore, and how heavy is it?
32 mm at 1-1/4 inch, with a 48.4 mm outside diameter and 1.68 kg per metre — the lightest code in the range and the one a service cart or a small dispenser uses.
Will it carry aviation kerosene without swelling?
That is what the liner is published for: resistance to swelling and permeation of aviation fuel, at 20 bar across all six bores. The liner, not the braid, is the part that decides whether the hose survives a season of Jet A-1.
Can it run from a refuelling truck pump and a hydrant pit?
Yes. The 51 mm code at 2 inch suits a bowser pump outlet and the 64 mm code at 83.6 mm outside suits a hydrant dispenser, both inside the same 20 bar rating and the same 61 m length.
Why is the burst margin 4:1 on a 20 bar hose?
Because 80 bar is four times 20 bar, and that is what the table publishes on every code. A truck dispenses well below 20 bar; the headroom covers a closed nozzle valve, a thermal rise in a full line and a pump that is still running.
Why does a fuelling hose go soft or weep near the coupling?
Fuel has reached the braid where the insert ends, usually because the hose has been run above 20 bar or the liner has been softened by a fuel it was not built for. A soft spot at the ferrule is a liner problem, not a pressure problem, and cutting back 300 mm only moves the same failure along the hose.
What is the lead time, and can you supply OEM marking?
Production runs about 20 days from confirmation, and OEM marking and packing are quoted with the order. Each length is tested and marked before dispatch — for a fuelling line the batch record matters as much as the 20 bar rating, so it travels with the goods.
How is the hose priced?
Per metre by bore, with the top end set by mass: 1.68 kg/m at 32 mm against 7.50 kg/m at 102 mm, both on 61 m lengths. Send bore, length, end fittings and destination for a firm figure.
