PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Tank Truck Hose — Six Bores, 2 Inch to 6 Inch, at 10 bar
A tank truck hose is a big hose doing an easy job. The product moves at a few bar, the pump is on the truck, and the pressure figure is almost never the reason a hose fails. What fails is the weight of it, the way it is dragged, and the radius it is forced into.
Our range covers six codes from 51 to 152 mm inside diameter, which is 2 inch to 6 inch, every one rated 10 bar working pressure, published in bar and psi on each row. Because the rating is flat, the bore is chosen for the connection on the truck rather than for the pressure.
The numbers that actually decide the size are on the right of the table: outside diameter from 65 mm to 172 mm, bend radius from 300 mm to 600 mm, and mass from 2.01 to 9.01 kg/m. A 6 inch line weighs more than four times a 2 inch line per metre, and that is what the operator handles at every delivery.

WHY THIS HOSE
Why the Big Number Is Weight, Not Pressure
Every code is 10 bar. Nothing in this range is decided by the rating, so the table is read from the right-hand columns.
10 bar on All Six
From 2 inch to 6 inch the working pressure is the same 10 bar. The bore is a connection decision on the truck, not a pressure decision.
9.01 kg/m at 6 Inch
Against 2.01 kg/m at 2 inch. A 61 m coil at the large end is 550 kg, which is a lifting operation rather than a carry.
600 mm at 5 and 6 Inch
The two largest codes need a 600 mm minimum arc. That is a metre of clearance before the hose has turned at all.
Factory OD to 172 mm
The 6 inch code is 172 mm outside. A pit, a tray or a hose boom has to be built around that figure.
61 m Lengths
Every code goes to 61 m, so a tanker connection is made in one piece rather than with a coupling on the ground.
Conductive Copper Wire
The reinforcement includes a conductive copper wire alongside the polyester cord and the spiral steel, which is the standard arrangement for oil suction and delivery duty.
CONSTRUCTION
Cord, Spiral Wire, Copper
Inner Tube
NBR (nitrile) tube, bored 51 mm to 152 mm. At this bore the tube presents a large surface to the product, so the compound is the first thing checked against the medium.
Reinforcement
High-strength polyester cord with a spiral steel wire and a conductive copper wire. The cord takes the pressure, the spiral holds the bore against suction, and the copper carries static.
Cover
NBR and CR blend cover, taking outside diameter to 65 mm at 2 inch through 172 mm at 6 inch. This is the layer that meets the ground and the dock.
APPLICATIONS
Where It Is Used
Tanker Loading Arms
2 and 2-1/2 inch at 300 and 400 mm arcs, where the connection is at waist height.
Bottom Loading
3 inch at 400 mm arc and 3.51 kg/m, the common size for a bottom-loading manifold.
Bulk Discharge
4 inch at 500 mm arc and 5.17 kg/m, where flow matters and the hose is handled by two people.
Depot and Terminal Transfer
5 inch at 600 mm arc, on a run that stays on the ground rather than being lifted.
Marine Bunkering
6 inch at 9.01 kg/m and 172 mm outside diameter, where the hose is crane-handled at both ends.
Oil Barge and Suction Duty
The spiral wire and conductive copper suit suction as well as delivery, so the same body covers both directions.
HIGH-END INDUSTRY DIRECTIONS
What Terminals Ask For
The questions are about handling and clearance, because the pressure question was answered years ago.
① Handling Weight heavy hose
Trend: Operators should not lift a 6 inch hose, so cranes and booms are specified.
Dohose: 9.01 kg/m at 152 mm, against 2.01 kg/m at 51 mm.
② Clearance to the Ground hose routing
Trend: Bend radius is asked for at layout stage.
Dohose: 300 mm at 2 inch rising to 600 mm at 5 and 6 inch.
③ Dragging Wear abrasion resistant hose
Trend: The cover takes the dock, not the product.
Dohose: NBR and CR cover, outside diameter 65 to 172 mm.
④ One Length per Bay long length hose
Trend: Couplings on the ground are avoided.
Dohose: 61 m on all six codes, which is 200 ft in the length column.
⑤ Suction as Well as Delivery suction hose
Trend: Terminals want one hose for loading and for drawing off a barge.
Dohose: Spiral steel wire for suction, conductive copper for static.
⑥ Inspection Records traceable hose
Trend: Transfer hose is inspected and logged.
Dohose: Batch and test date are marked on each length.
WHY DOHOSE
Seven Reasons Buyers Stay with Us
Published Per Code
The Tank Truck Hose is published code by code — 6 rows, 51–152 mm, each with its own pressure and mass.
One Factory, Whole Range
From the smallest to the largest bore in 51–152 mm, the Tank Truck Hose is made in one plant — no second source.
Cut to the Metre
Take the length the job needs — Tank Truck Hose is cut from the coil, with 2.01–9.01 kg/m across the published codes; every figure is per code, not an average published so handling can be planned.
Tested Before Boxing
Every assembly built from Tank Truck Hose passes a hydrostatic test before it leaves the plant.
Packed for the Container
Pallet layouts for Tank Truck Hose are planned against the container, so freight per metre stays predictable.
Private Label
Printing, labels and packing for Tank Truck Hose can carry a distributor brand.
Same-Hour Reply
Bore, quantity and ends are enough to price Tank Truck Hose; the reply goes out within 1 hour.
FAQ
Tank Truck Hose — Ten Questions
What pressure is this hose rated for?
Every code is rated 10 bar working pressure, published in bar and psi on each row as 145 psi. The rating does not change with size on this range, so the bore is chosen for the tanker connection and for the flow, not for the pressure.
What is the difference between the 4 inch and 6 inch codes?
Flow, weight and clearance. The 4 inch code is 120 mm outside diameter at 5.17 kg/m with a 500 mm arc, while the 6 inch code is 172 mm outside at 9.01 kg/m with a 600 mm arc. Both are rated 10 bar working.
Can a 4 inch hose replace a 3 inch one on the same arm?
Only if the arm and the pit allow it. Going from 3 inch to 4 inch takes the outside diameter from 92 mm to 120 mm and the bend radius from 400 mm to 500 mm, and the weight rises from 3.51 to 5.17 kg/m, so an arm balanced for the smaller hose will sag.
What are the six available bores?
The range covers 51, 64, 76, 102, 127 and 152 mm inside diameter, which is 2, 2-1/2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 inch. Outside diameter runs 65, 80, 92, 120, 147 and 172 mm in the same order, at 2.01 to 9.01 kg/m.
Why does the same hose work for suction and for delivery?
Because the reinforcement carries a spiral steel wire as well as the polyester cord. The spiral holds the bore open against suction while the cord takes the delivery pressure, so one body covers both directions across 51 to 152 mm bore at 10 bar working, with a conductive copper wire alongside for static.
Why does the bend radius matter more than the pressure here?
Because a 6 inch hose at 172 mm outside diameter has to turn somewhere, and the table gives it 600 mm. On a loading bay that is a metre of clear ground, and it is the figure that decides whether the hose can be routed at all.
Which code for a bottom-loading manifold?
The 3 inch code at 400 mm arc, 92 mm outside diameter and 3.51 kg/m. It is the usual manifold size and it stays light enough for one operator to guide onto the connection.
Which code for marine bunkering?
The 6 inch code at 152 mm bore, 9.01 kg/m and 172 mm outside diameter. At that weight the hose is crane-handled at both ends, so the arc of 600 mm and the coil length of 61 m are what the layout has to accommodate.
What is the minimum order and the longest length?
100 m per size as a rule, cut to length, with a maximum single length of 61 metres on all six codes. Production runs about 20 days from confirmation, and OEM marking and packing are available for terminals and distributors.
What does it cost per metre?
Price follows the bore: 2.01 kg/m at 2 inch, 3.02 at 2-1/2, 3.51 at 3, 5.17 at 4, 7.63 at 5 and 9.01 kg/m at 6 inch. Send the product, the connection, the length and the destination, and a firm figure comes back the same working day.
