PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Petrol and Diesel Hose — 13 Bores, 100 m on the Small End
This is the hose a forecourt runs on: an NBR fuel tube, a high-strength polyester cord reinforcement and an NBR + CR cover, published in thirteen codes from 6 mm to 102 mm at 20 bar working and 60 bar minimum burst, for industrial diesel and gasoline transfer.
The small end is where a filling station actually lives. Seven codes from 6 to 25 mm cover dispenser hoses, drum pumps and small transfer lines, and those seven ship on a 100 m coil because a forecourt replaces hose by the metre rather than by the length. From 32 mm upward the six larger codes come on 61 m.
Mass runs 0.18 kg/m at the 6 mm bore to 4.21 kg/m at 102 mm, with the outside diameter from 14 mm to 119 mm. Every code is 20 bar with 60 bar burst behind it — a 3:1 margin — and the bend radius is published per code from 60 mm to 800 mm, which is the figure a dispenser hose is routed by.

SELECTION GUIDE
What to Specify Before You Order
Six answers get you a firm quote the same day. If any is unclear, send the media and duty and we will recommend a code.
① Media
Fuel or oil?
- Diesel, gasoline or lubricating oil?
- Any water or sediment in the line?
- Adblue or additive blends? Say so.
② Bore
6–102 mm
- Match to pump port and target flow.
- 1/4"–1" for engine and tool duty.
- 3"–4" for tanker discharge.
③ Pressure
20 bar working
- Rated working pressure is 20 bar.
- Minimum burst is 60 bar — keep surge clear.
- Suction duty needs reinforcement check.
④ Temperature
State the duty
- Ambient and media temperature?
- Heated fuel changes the liner choice.
- Note min and max on site.
⑤ Static
Fuel needs it
- Petrol transfer needs dissipation.
- Conductive build is a separate spec.
- Mention it before quoting.
⑥ Ends
Crimped in-house
- BSP, JIC, ORFS or flange.
- Crimped and pressure-tested.
- Send the drawing if non-standard.
WHY THIS HOSE
Six Reasons a Forecourt Buys This Hose
A filling station needs one fuel hose that can be cut to a dispenser, re-reeled and replaced from stock. These six points are how that works out.
Thirteen Bores, One Rating
Every code from the 6 mm dispenser hose to the 102 mm tanker delivery line is 20 bar with 60 bar burst, so the store holds one fuel hose family rather than a pressure class per size.
100 m Where It Matters
The seven codes from 6 to 25 mm ship on a 100 m coil, which is how a forecourt buys: by the metre, cut from stock, with the offcut going back on the shelf.
61 m Above 1-1/4 Inch
From 32 mm upward the coil is 61 m, because a tanker delivery line is ordered as a length rather than as a stock item.
NBR Tube Against Fuel
The tube is NBR, the compound a fuel hose is built around, and the cover is NBR blended with CR for the abrasion a reel and a driveway give it.
Cord, Not Wire
A polyester cord reinforcement gives a 60 mm bend radius at the 6 mm bore, which is what lets a dispenser hose hang in a loop without a permanent set.
0.18 kg per Metre
The small bores are light enough that a dispenser hose hangs from its own fittings, and the 2.68 kg/m 3 inch code is the point where a tanker line needs handling.
CONSTRUCTION
NBR Tube, Cord, NBR + CR Cover
Inner Tube
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber), the fuel-facing compound, from 6 mm to 102 mm bore.
Reinforcement
High-strength polyester cord, which gives the 20 bar rating with 60 bar burst and the 60 mm bend radius at the small end.
Cover
NBR blended with CR, an abrasion-resistant cover from 14 mm outside at the 6 mm code to 119 mm at 102 mm.
APPLICATIONS
Where Fuel Is Moved at a Station
Dispenser Hoses
The 19 mm code at 3/4 inch and 0.55 kg/m, the size a pump nozzle assembly uses.
Drum and Barrel
The 25 mm code at 1 inch on a 100 m coil, for decanting drums into a tank.
Tanker Delivery
The 76 mm code at 3 inch and 2.68 kg/m, on a 61 m length to a fill point.
Small Transfer Pumps
The 13 mm code at 1/2 inch, on a pump-fed transfer between containers.
Bulk Drop
The 102 mm code at 4.21 kg/m, where the bore sets the drop time.
Generator Refuelling
The 32 mm code at 1-1/4 inch, on a 61 m coil to a day tank.

FAQ
Petrol and Diesel Hose — Ten Questions
Fuel hose vs the hydraulic oil hose on the same table — what changes?
The use, not the build. Both are 20 bar with 60 bar burst over 6 mm to 102 mm, but this one is published for industrial diesel and gasoline on a forecourt, where the same hose at the other page is a machine return line.
Can it replace the hose on a fuel dispenser?
Yes where the bore matches — the 19 mm code at 3/4 inch is the size a nozzle assembly uses, at 0.55 kg per metre and a 190 mm bend radius, so it hangs in a loop without a set.
What is the rating on the 1 inch code?
20 bar working with 60 bar minimum burst on a 25 mm bore, a 36 mm outside diameter and 0.78 kg per metre, cut from a 100 m coil.
What is the largest bore, and how is it supplied?
102 mm at 4 inch, with a 119 mm outside diameter, a 4.21 kg per metre mass and an 800 mm bend radius, supplied on a 61 m coil rather than the 100 m used at the small end.
Will it carry petrol and diesel from the same stock?
That is the published duty: industrial diesel and gasoline transfer at 20 bar on all thirteen codes. The NBR tube is the compound both fuels are handled with, and the cover resists the abrasion of a forecourt.
Can it be used on a tanker delivery line?
Yes — the 76 mm code at 3 inch and 2.68 kg/m is the usual delivery size, on a 61 m length, with the same 20 bar rating as the dispenser hose it sits beside.
Why does the coil length change at 32 mm?
Because the two ends of a forecourt are bought differently. Dispenser and drum hose from 6 to 25 mm is a stock item on a 100 m coil; a tanker line from 32 mm is a length, supplied on 61 m.
Why does a fuel hose go hard at the nozzle end?
Because that end is flexed against the nozzle every fill, and the fuel drains out of it last. On the 19 mm code the hose is small enough that the set is visible early — replace it before the tube cracks rather than after it weeps.
What is the minimum order?
One length cut from stock, from a single metre upward, in any of the thirteen codes. The small bores come from a 100 m coil and the larger ones from 61 m, and assemblies are crimped and tested.
How is the hose priced?
Per metre by bore: 0.18 kg/m at the 6 mm code through 4.21 kg/m at 102 mm. Send bore, length, end fittings and destination for a firm figure.
