PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
R15 Six-Spiral Hose — 420 bar From 3/8 inch to 4 inch
The YIBO R15 is our top-of-range spiral hose: an oil-resistant tube, four or six layers of steel wire, and an abrasion-resistant cover. It exists for the circuits where 350 bar is not enough and the bore is not small.
The range is 13 codes from 10 mm to 102 mm, 3/8 inch to 4 inch. Every row is rated 42.0 MPa (420 bar) with 168.0 MPa (1,680 bar) minimum burst, a 4.0x margin — and at 1-1/4 inch a second row is rated 45.0 MPa (450 bar).
What that buys is pressure at the ends of the size range: 420 bar at 3/8 inch with a 150 mm bend, and still 420 bar at 4 inch with a 1500 mm bend. A four-spiral range stops at 2 inch and 250 bar, so the two do not overlap above that point.

Values are reproduced from the official YIBO product page. psi columns = MPa × 145.038, rounded. Ratings run to 450 bar working / 1,800 bar minimum burst over the 10–102 mm bore band; the order data sheet governs the batch.
Application & Selection
SUITABLE FOR CONVEYING HYDRAULIC FLUIDS SUCH AS GLYCOL, HYDRAULIC OIL, LUBRICATING OIL, AND EMULSIONS, ETC. MULTI-LAYER STEEL WIRE ULTRA-HIGH PRESSURE SPIRAL HYDRAULIC HOSE is published in 13 codes spanning 10–102 mm bore.
Working and burst rating of MULTI-LAYER STEEL WIRE ULTRA-HIGH PRESSURE SPIRAL HYDRAULIC HOSE peak at 450 / 1,800 bar, a 4:1 margin. This series weighs 0.76–13.25 kg/m. Metric / BSP / JIC / ORFS ends are crimped and pressure-tested in-house across the 10–102 mm bore. MULTI-LAYER STEEL WIRE ULTRA-HIGH PRESSURE SPIRAL HYDRAULIC HOSE runs roughly 20 days from confirmation over its 13 codes, with OEM marking and packing.
WHY THIS HOSE
Six Reasons R15 Sits at the Top of the Range
The rating does not taper with bore here, and that is the point of a six-spiral body.
420 bar at Every Code
From 10 mm to 102 mm, every row is 42.0 MPa with 168 MPa burst. Moving up a bore does not cost pressure class, which is what keeps a large machine on one specification.
450 bar at 1-1/4 inch
A second row at 31.5 mm is rated 45.0 MPa (450 bar) with 180 MPa burst, at the same 2.89 kg/m and the same 445 mm bend radius as the standard row. One bore, two classes.
Three-Eighths at 150 mm
The 10 mm code bends to 150 mm, so a high-pressure line can route inside a machine bay that a 240 mm radius would not fit.
Four Inch at 420 bar
The 102 mm code holds 42.0 MPa with a 1500 mm bend radius at 13.25 kg/m. That is a header, not a whip line, and it is the row that no four-spiral range can match.
Hotter Than Braided
-40 to +120 ℃ on oil, against +100 ℃ for the braided ranges, with 0 to +70 ℃ stated separately for water-based media.
Every Assembly Proof-Tested
Crimped on a CNC machine and tested above rated pressure before dispatch, then marked with batch and test date.
CONSTRUCTION
Tube, Four to Six Spirals, Cover
Inner Tube
Oil-resistant synthetic rubber (NBR), bored from 9.3 to 10.1 mm at 3/8 inch through to 101.5 to 103.5 mm at 4 inch.
Reinforcement
Four or six alternating steel wire spirals. The layer count is what holds 42.0 MPa at 102 mm bore, where a four-spiral body is rated 25.0 MPa.
Cover
Abrasion- and weather-resistant rubber, outside diameter 20.3 to 23.3 mm at 3/8 inch and 137.0 to 142.5 mm at 4 inch.
APPLICATIONS
Where R15 Is Specified
Mining & Heavy Equipment
Hoist, lift and steering circuits at 420 bar, where the 3/4 inch code gives 265 mm of bend radius.
Presses Above 400 bar
Press and return lines that a 350 bar range cannot hold, especially where the bore is 1 inch or more.
Shipyard & Offshore
Deck machinery and tensioners running high pressure with long runs, where the 2 inch code is 5.43 kg/m.
Steel Mill Hydraulics
Hot, high-pressure circuits inside the -40 to +120 ℃ window rather than the +100 ℃ of braided hose.
Large Bore Headers
4 inch headers at 420 bar with a 1500 mm bend radius, which is a crane lift rather than a hand carry.
Compact High-Pressure Bays
3/8 and 1/2 inch codes at 420 bar with 150 and 200 mm bends, for machines that are tight and hot at the same time.
HIGH-END INDUSTRY DIRECTIONS
What Pushes Buyers to R15
Two forces: pressure above 350 bar, and the need for that pressure at a bore bigger than 1-1/2 inch.
① 400 bar Becomes Normal high pressure hose
Trend: Relief settings on heavy equipment keep climbing past the 350 bar class.
Dohose: Every R15 code is 42.0 MPa, with a 45.0 MPa row at 1-1/4 inch.
② One Range, 3/8 to 4 inch high pressure hose
Trend: Buyers want one specification from a whip line to a header.
Dohose: 13 codes from 10 mm to 102 mm bore, all at 42.0 MPa.
③ Heat and Pressure Together high temperature hose
Trend: Steel mill and engine test circuits run hot and high at the same time.
Dohose: The window is -40 to +120 ℃, 20 degrees wider than the braided ranges.
④ Tight Bays compact hose
Trend: High-pressure lines increasingly have to fit a bay drawn around something else.
Dohose: The 10 mm code bends to 150 mm, the tightest row in this table.
⑤ Handling at 4 inch lightweight hose
Trend: Large-bore high-pressure lines are a rigging problem as much as a hydraulic one.
Dohose: Mass is published from 0.76 kg/m at 3/8 inch to 13.25 kg/m at 4 inch, so the lift can be planned.
⑥ Traceability traceable hose
Trend: A 420 bar failure gets investigated, and the trail starts with the coil.
Dohose: Batch and test date are marked on the body and recorded against the order.

FAQ
R15 Ultra-High Pressure Hose — Ten Questions
R15 vs 4SH at 2 inch — which one?
R15, by a wide margin. At 51 mm bore R15 is rated 42.0 MPa (420 bar) with a 660 mm bend radius and 5.43 kg/m, while a four-spiral 4SH on the same bore is rated 25.0 MPa (250 bar). Above 1-1/2 inch the two ranges do not overlap at all.
R15 vs R13 at 3/4 inch?
R15 gives 70 bar more. At 19 mm R15 is rated 42.0 MPa (420 bar) with a 265 mm bend radius and 1.56 kg/m, against 35.0 MPa, 240 mm and 1.36 kg/m for R13. So R15 costs 25 mm of bend radius and 0.20 kg/m for 70 bar.
What is the working pressure at 3/4 inch?
The 19 mm code is rated 42.0 MPa working (420 bar, 6,092 psi) with 168.0 MPa (1,680 bar) minimum burst. Minimum bend radius is 265 mm, mass is 1.56 kg/m, and the inside diameter is held between 18.6 and 19.8 mm.
What is the rating at 4 inch?
The 102 mm code is rated 42.0 MPa (420 bar, 6,092 psi) with 168.0 MPa (1,680 bar) burst, on an inside diameter of 101.5 to 103.5 mm. Bend radius is 1500 mm and mass is 13.25 kg/m, so a 100 m length is over 1.3 tonnes and is quoted cut to length.
Which R15 code for a 450 bar circuit?
The 1-1/4 inch row rated 45.0 MPa (450 bar) with 180 MPa burst, at 2.89 kg/m and a 445 mm bend radius. The standard row on the same 31.5 mm bore is 42.0 MPa, so a 430 bar circuit has to specify which of the two it is buying.
Does R15 run on water-based fluid?
Yes, inside a narrower window: -40 to +120 ℃ on oil and 0 to +70 ℃ on water-based media. The 42.0 MPa rating does not change, but on HFC the 70 ℃ ceiling usually ends the application before the pressure does.
Why does a 4 inch R15 fail at the coupling?
Because at 13.25 kg/m the hose is a load, not a line. The coupling and the clamp behind it take that load on every cycle, so the run needs support and the assembly needs a ferrule matched to this body. Re-ending a hose that has already run is not a repair on a six-spiral body.
Why does the 4 inch code need 1500 mm of bend?
That is the minimum set by the wire pack at 102 mm bore. A tighter bend works the outer spirals on every pressure cycle, so a 4 inch header is laid out as a large-radius run with support, not as something routed around a corner.
Which Chinese manufacturer supplies R15 spiral hose in bulk?
YIBO, in Luohe, Henan, winds R15 in 13 codes from 10 mm to 102 mm bore, all rated 42.0 MPa with a 45.0 MPa option at 1-1/4 inch. Coils and crimped assemblies ship from one plant, loading through Qingdao or Shanghai.
What does R15 cost per metre across the range?
Price follows the wire pack: 0.76 kg/m at 3/8 inch, 1.98 kg/m at 1 inch, 5.43 kg/m at 2 inch, 13.25 kg/m at 4 inch. Weight is the dominant cost term on this range, so a 4 inch enquiry is priced from the tonne rather than the metre.
