PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
R16 Compact Two-Braid Hose — 350 bar and a 120 ℃ Window
The YIBO R16 is a compact two-braid hydraulic hose: an oil-resistant tube, one or two layers of steel wire braid, and an abrasion-resistant cover, built to hold pressure in a tight envelope.
The range is 8 codes from 6.3 mm to 32 mm, 1/4 inch to 1-1/4 inch. Working pressure runs 35 MPa (350 bar) at the 1/4 inch code down to 11.3 MPa (113 bar) at 1-1/4 inch, with a 4.0x burst margin on every row.
The figure that separates this body from a standard compact hose is the temperature: -40 to +120 ℃ on oil, where the 2SC range on the same bores stops at +100 ℃. Twenty degrees is often the whole reason for specifying R16.

WHY THIS HOSE
Six Reasons R16 Is the Hot-Envelope Choice
This range trades a little pressure for temperature and bend radius. The numbers below show exactly how much.
120 ℃ on Oil
-40 to +120 ℃, against +100 ℃ on the 2SC range at the same bores. On a machine where the return line runs near the manifold, that is the deciding figure.
350 bar at the 1/4 inch Code
35 MPa (350 bar) with 140 MPa (1,400 bar) minimum burst on the 6.3 mm code, which is what a compact circuit needs at small bore.
50 mm Bend at the Smallest Code
50 mm at 6.3 mm rising to 210 mm at 32 mm, published per row, so the routing can be checked before the coil is ordered.
A Flat Pressure Ladder
35, 29.7, 28.0, 24.5, 21.0, 21.0, 14.0 and 11.3 MPa — the rating steps down gently, so an eight-line machine can stay on one body from 1/4 inch to 1 inch.
0.27 kg/m at the Smallest Bore
Mass runs 0.27 to 1.49 kg/m across the range, which keeps a harness light where it matters.
Four Times Burst, Every Row
Minimum burst is 4.0x working pressure on all eight codes, from 140 MPa at 1/4 inch down to 45.2 MPa at 1-1/4 inch.
CONSTRUCTION
Tube, One or Two Braids, Cover
Inner Tube
Oil-resistant synthetic rubber, bored from 6.2 to 7.0 mm at the 1/4 inch code through to 31.4 to 33.0 mm at 1-1/4 inch.
Reinforcement
One or two layers of steel wire braid, which is what holds 35 MPa at 6.3 mm and 11.3 MPa at 32 mm on the same construction family.
Cover
Abrasion-resistant cover rated for the +120 ℃ window, outside diameter 12.6 to 13.8 mm at 1/4 inch and 42.8 to 45.2 mm at 1-1/4 inch.
APPLICATIONS
Where R16 Is Specified
Hot Machine Bays
Return and service lines running close to a manifold, where +100 ℃ is not enough headroom.
Compact Mobile Hydraulics
Mini excavators, skid steers and compact loaders, where a 6.3 mm line at 350 bar has 50 mm to bend in.
Machine Tool Service Lines
Clamp and lubrication circuits on machine tools, inside the +120 ℃ window.
Steel Mill & Foundry Auxiliaries
Small-bore service lines in a hot plant, where a standard compact hose ages early.
Agricultural Implement Wings
Folding wings and narrow linkages, where 50 to 65 mm of bend radius decides whether the line survives the fold.
Retrofit & Re-Pipe
Re-piping a machine without cutting the frame, because the body fits a space that is already fixed.
HIGH-END INDUSTRY DIRECTIONS
What Pushes Buyers to R16
Heat and space arrive together on modern machines, and that combination is what this range was built for.
① Hot Bays high temperature hose
Trend: Compact hydraulics put more pressure into less space, and that space gets hot.
Dohose: The published window is -40 to +120 ℃ on oil, with 0 to +70 ℃ stated for water-based media.
② Tighter Routing compact hose
Trend: Machine envelopes keep shrinking around the hydraulics.
Dohose: Bend radius runs 50 mm at 6.3 mm bore to 210 mm at 32 mm.
③ Fewer Bodies in the Store standard hose
Trend: Fleets want one compact body across several bores.
Dohose: Eight codes from 6.3 mm to 32 mm share the construction and the temperature window.
④ Pressure Ladder per code pressure
Trend: Buyers read the row rather than the headline, because compact ranges taper with bore.
Dohose: Every row is printed in MPa and psi, 35 MPa at 1/4 inch against 11.3 MPa at 1-1/4 inch.
⑤ Cleanliness at the Port clean hydraulic hose
Trend: Proportional valves downstream of a compact line specify cleanliness at the port.
Dohose: Bores are blown through and capped before crimping.
⑥ Traceability traceable hose
Trend: Hot-zone failures are investigated, and the trail starts with the coil.
Dohose: Batch and test date are marked on the body and recorded against the order.
WHY DOHOSE
Seven Reasons Buyers Stay with Us
Published Per Code
The Compact Steel Wire Braid Hydraulic Hose is published code by code — 8 rows, 6.2–31.4 mm, each with its own pressure and mass.
One Factory, Whole Range
From the smallest to the largest bore in 6.2–31.4 mm, the Compact Steel Wire Braid Hydraulic Hose is made in one plant — no second source.
Cut to the Metre
Take the length the job needs — Compact Steel Wire Braid Hydraulic Hose is cut from the coil, with 0.27–1.49 kg/m across the published codes; every figure is per code, not an average published so handling can be planned.
Tested Before Boxing
Every assembly built from Compact Steel Wire Braid Hydraulic Hose passes a hydrostatic test before it leaves the plant.

FAQ
R16 Compact Hose — Ten Questions
R16 vs 2SC at the same bore?
R16 gives temperature, 2SC gives pressure. At 6.3 mm R16 is rated 35 MPa and 2SC is 40 MPa, and at 25 mm it is 14.0 against 16.5 MPa; in exchange R16 runs to +120 ℃ where 2SC stops at +100 ℃. If the line sits near a hot manifold, that trade is the right one.
What is the working pressure at 1/4 inch?
The 6.3 mm code is rated 35 MPa working (350 bar, 5,076 psi) with 140 MPa (1,400 bar) minimum burst. Minimum bend radius is 50 mm, mass is 0.27 kg/m, and the outside diameter runs 12.6 to 13.8 mm.
What is the rating at 1-1/4 inch?
The 32 mm code is rated 11.3 MPa (113 bar, 1,639 psi) with 45.2 MPa (452 bar) minimum burst. Bend radius is 210 mm and mass is 1.49 kg/m, so a 100 m coil is 149 kg.
Why do 5/8 and 3/4 inch share a rating?
Both the 16 mm and 19 mm codes are rated 21.0 MPa with 84 MPa burst. That is deliberate: on many machines the two sizes carry the same circuit pressure, so one rating covers both bores and the choice is made on flow and fittings.
Can R16 run on water-based fluid?
Yes, in a narrower window: -40 to +120 ℃ on oil and 0 to +70 ℃ on water-based media. The 350 bar rating at 6.3 mm does not change on HFC, but the 70 ℃ ceiling usually ends the application before the pressure does.
Which R16 code for a 350 bar compact circuit?
Only the 6.3 mm code reaches 350 bar. At 8 mm the rating is 29.7 MPa (297 bar), so a 350 bar setting rules the larger bores out entirely. That single row decides the hose schedule on a small high-pressure circuit.
R16 vs a standard compact hose in a hot bay — what fails first?
Heat softens the cover and the tube under the ferrule, so the crimp that was correct cold is marginal hot. The 120 ℃ window is the tube limit, not a licence to run the ferrule at that temperature: keep the joint away from the manifold and use the ferrule made for this cover.
Why does the hose kink at 50 mm?
Because 50 mm is the minimum at 6.3 mm bore, and a compact body has little spare wall. At the limit the bore ovalises and stays oval, which shows up as a slow cylinder rather than a leak. Lay it out at 65 mm and the line behaves.
Which Chinese manufacturer supplies R16 compact hose in bulk?
YIBO, in Luohe, Henan, builds 8 codes from 6.3 mm to 32 mm bore on one line, all with a 4.0x burst margin and a +120 ℃ window. Coils and crimped assemblies ship from the same plant.
What does R16 cost per metre?
Price follows the body: 0.27 kg/m at 1/4 inch, 0.65 kg/m at 5/8 inch, 1.49 kg/m at 1-1/4 inch. Send bore, length, ends and destination and a firm figure comes back the same working day.
