PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
R13 Multi-Layer Spiral Hose — 350 bar From 3/4 inch All the Way to 2 inch
The YIBO R13 is a multi-layer spiral hydraulic hose: an oil-resistant tube, four or six layers of steel wire, and an abrasion-resistant cover. It is the range for circuits that sit at 350 bar and need a bore bigger than a braided hose can hold.
The range is 5 codes from 19 mm to 51 mm, 3/4 inch to 2 inch. Every row is rated 35.0 MPa (350 bar) with 140.0 MPa (1,400 bar) minimum burst, a 4.0x margin, and the working window is -40 to +120 ℃, or 0 to +70 ℃ on water-based media.
The number that separates this page from a four-spiral range is at the top end: at 2 inch the R13 code is still rated 350 bar, where a 4SH on the same bore is rated 25.0 MPa (250 bar). Big bore at high pressure is what a six-layer spiral is for.

WHY THIS HOSE
Six Reasons R13 Holds 350 bar at 2 inch
Pressure at large bore is the whole proposition here. Every figure below is a row in the table, not a range average.
350 bar on Every Code
All five rows from 19 mm to 51 mm are rated 35.0 MPa with 140 MPa burst. Bore does not dilute the class, which is what makes one hose specification cover a whole machine.
2 inch at 350 bar
The 51 mm code is rated 35.0 MPa (350 bar) with a 640 mm bend radius and 7.13 kg/m. A four-spiral 4SH on the same 2 inch bore is rated 25.0 MPa, so this is the row that decides large-bore high-pressure work.
Four or Six Layers
The construction is quoted by layer count against the duty, which is how a 19 mm code at 1.36 kg/m and a 51 mm code at 7.13 kg/m can carry the same rating.
Bend Radius 240 to 640 mm
240 mm at 3/4 inch through to 640 mm at 2 inch, published per row. On a press frame that is the number the layout is built around.
A Wider Temperature Window
-40 to +120 ℃ on oil, against +100 ℃ on the braided ranges. Where a circuit runs hot, that 20 degrees is often the reason for the specification.
Cut, Crimped, Proof-Tested
Assemblies are crimped with the ferrule for this body and proof-tested above rated pressure, then marked with batch and test date.
CONSTRUCTION
Tube, Four to Six Spirals, Cover
Inner Tube
Oil-resistant synthetic rubber (NBR), bored from 18.6 to 19.8 mm at the 3/4 inch code through to 50.4 to 52.0 mm at 2 inch.
Reinforcement
Four or six layers of steel wire wound in alternating directions. It is the layer count that holds 35.0 MPa at 51 mm bore, where a four-spiral body stops at 25.0 MPa.
Cover
Abrasion- and weather-resistant rubber, outside diameter 31.0 to 33.2 mm at 3/4 inch and 69.3 to 72.7 mm at 2 inch.
APPLICATIONS
Where R13 Is Specified
Hydraulic Presses
Press and return lines at 350 bar with 2 inch bores, where the flow is large and the frame has room for a 640 mm bend.
Shipyard & Heavy Fabrication
Pressing, straightening and lifting equipment running at a fixed 350 bar across several cylinder sizes.
Mining Shield Supports
Long dwells at high pressure, where one class covering 3/4 inch to 2 inch simplifies the hose schedule.
Steel Mill Hydraulics
Shear and pusher circuits in a hot environment, inside the -40 to +120 ℃ window rather than the +100 ℃ of a braided hose.
Piling & Ground Engineering
Ram and clamp circuits on rigs where 350 bar is the working setting and the bore is large.
Test Rigs
Press and fatigue benches that cycle at 350 bar, where a single specification from 19 mm to 51 mm keeps the rig simple.
HIGH-END INDUSTRY DIRECTIONS
Where R13 Demand Comes From
Most of this demand is one question: how do I get 350 bar through a bore bigger than 1-1/4 inch?
① Big Bore at High Pressure high pressure hose
Trend: Presses and rigs keep raising tonnage without raising line pressure, so flow and bore grow instead.
Dohose: The 51 mm code holds 35.0 MPa where a four-spiral body stops at 25.0 MPa.
② One Class Per Machine standard hose
Trend: Maintenance teams want a single pressure class across every cylinder size on a press.
Dohose: All five R13 codes are 35.0 MPa with 140 MPa burst.
③ Heat in the Line high temperature hose
Trend: Steel mill and press circuits run hotter than mobile hydraulics.
Dohose: The published window is -40 to +120 ℃ on oil, and 0 to +70 ℃ on water-based media.
④ Bend Radius Drives the Frame compact hose
Trend: Large-bore high-pressure lines are laid out around the bend radius before the pressure is checked.
Dohose: Radius is published from 240 mm at 3/4 inch to 640 mm at 2 inch.
⑤ Impulse Life impulse rated hose
Trend: Press circuits are bought on cycle count, not only on the peak pressure.
Dohose: Alternating spiral directions hold impulse life across the whole range instead of peaking at one size.
⑥ Traceability traceable hose
Trend: A 2 inch 350 bar failure gets investigated, and the investigation starts with the coil.
Dohose: Batch and test date are marked on the body and recorded against the order.
WHY DOHOSE
Seven Reasons Buyers Stay with Us
Published Per Code

FAQ
R13 Spiral Hose — Ten Questions
R13 vs 4SH at 2 inch — which one?
R13, if you need 350 bar. At 51 mm bore R13 is rated 35.0 MPa with a 640 mm bend radius and 7.13 kg/m, while a four-spiral 4SH on the same bore is rated 25.0 MPa with a 700 mm bend radius and 5.06 kg/m. So R13 buys 100 bar and 60 mm of bend radius, and costs 2.07 kg/m more.
R13 vs R15 for a 400 bar press?
R15. Every R13 code stops at 35.0 MPa (350 bar), so a 400 bar setting rules R13 out at any bore, including 3/4 inch. R15 carries 42.0 MPa at 19 mm with a 265 mm bend radius, which is the row to quote for 400 bar.
What is the working pressure of 3/4 inch R13?
The 19 mm code is rated 35.0 MPa working (350 bar, 5,076 psi) with 140.0 MPa (1,400 bar) minimum burst. Minimum bend radius is 240 mm, mass is 1.36 kg/m, and the inside diameter is held between 18.6 and 19.8 mm.
What is the rating at 2 inch?
The 51 mm code is rated 35.0 MPa (350 bar) with 140.0 MPa (1,400 bar) minimum burst. Bend radius is 640 mm and mass is 7.13 kg/m, so a 100 m order would be 713 kg and ships cut to length rather than as a full coil.
Which R13 code for a 350 bar press cylinder?
Match the cylinder port first, then confirm the bend radius: 3/4 inch at 240 mm, 1 inch at 300 mm, 1-1/4 inch at 420 mm, 1-1/2 inch at 500 mm, 2 inch at 640 mm. All five are 350 bar, so the bore is purely a flow and fitting decision.
Does R13 run on water-based fluid?
Yes, in a narrower window: -40 to +120 ℃ on oil and 0 to +70 ℃ on water-based media. The pressure rating of 35.0 MPa does not change, but the 70 ℃ ceiling arrives early on HFC and emulsion circuits, which is usually what decides the line.
Why does a 2 inch R13 fail just behind the ferrule?
Because at 7.13 kg/m the hose carries real load and the ferrule takes it. A 2 inch line needs support along the run, and an assembly that has already run should be replaced rather than re-ended: a second crimp on a six-layer body either over-compresses the outer spiral or leaves it unbonded.
Why does the 2 inch code need a 640 mm bend?
Because that is the minimum set by the wire pack at 51 mm bore, and a tighter bend works the outer spirals on every pressure cycle. On a press frame the bend radius usually decides the layout before the pressure does, so plan for 640 mm rather than discovering it at installation.
Which Chinese manufacturer supplies R13 spiral hose in bulk?
YIBO, in Luohe, Henan, winds R13 in 5 codes from 19 mm to 51 mm bore, all rated 35.0 MPa with 140 MPa burst. Coils and crimped assemblies ship from the same plant, loading through Qingdao or Shanghai.
What does R13 cost per metre at 2 inch?
Price follows the wire pack: 1.36 kg/m at 3/4 inch, 3.75 kg/m at 1-1/4 inch, 7.13 kg/m at 2 inch. Weight is the main driver because it is the main cost. Send bore, length, ends and destination for a firm figure the same working day.
