For high-risk applications where people work close to high-pressure lines — underground coal mining, continuous casting in metallurgy, die-casting machines and hydraulic demolition — we introduce ultra-high-pressure safety hose assemblies with anti-burst sleeves. The shift in design philosophy is explicit: everyone has been working on making hose not leak; this product accepts that it might, and manages what happens next.
A Long-Underestimated Risk: High-Pressure Jets
The real danger of hydraulic hose is rarely the leak itself but the form failure takes. When a line above 30 MPa ruptures, escaping oil exits as a needle-like high-velocity jet that can easily penetrate skin and cause severe injury; in mining and metallurgy where ignition sources exist, atomized oil can rapidly form a combustible mixture. Put differently: a conventional hose answers only for whether it fails. This assembly also answers for what happens after it fails.
Four Layers of Safety Design
① Anti-burst braided sleeve. A high-strength, abrasion-resistant braided sleeve is composited over the hose. Even if the inner tube ruptures in an extreme event, the sleeve contains the oil jet and channels it longitudinally toward both ends, preventing a high-velocity needle jet and widespread oil mist — buying critical time for personnel evacuation and machine shutdown.
② Flame retardant and antistatic. Sleeve and cover use flame-retardant, antistatic compounds meeting the flame resistance and antistatic requirements for mining high-pressure hose, reducing static accumulation and flame propagation risk underground.
③ Anti-pull-out fittings with zero-leak face seals. Fittings use anti-pull-out construction and CNC crimping, with crimp parameters bound to hose batch records. Face seals avoid thread sealant contaminating the fluid and eliminate the false sense of sealing that sealant can create.
④ Leak indication. A pressure-relief drainage path between sleeve and inner tube means early inner tube weeping shows up as visible seepage at the fitting end — so a developing failure is discovered before the operator has to notice it.
