The low minimum bending radius is what makes this hose suitable for tight routing inside dense equipment cabinets. Need a size or length not listed? Tell us the loop layout — we cut to length and fit the connectors.
Quick Connect Couplings for Liquid Cooling Loops
Complete the loop with our matching quick-connect couplings — so the hose and the connector arrive as one working assembly, not two separate parts you have to match yourself. UQD / UQDB compatible (our own QC series — not OCP-certified UQD parts), EPDM seal, blind-plug and standard versions available.

Stainless Steel Rigid Pipe & Corrugated Hose Assembly
For the fixed runs inside the cabinet or along the facility pipework, we also supply stainless steel rigid pipe and corrugated hose assemblies — so one supplier covers both the flexible and the rigid part of the loop.

Designing the Loop: What the Hose Has to Survive
A liquid cooling hose is not judged on pressure. It is judged on whether it keeps a sealed loop sealed for the ten years a rack is expected to run. The construction below is published size by size so the loop can be designed around real figures rather than nominal ones.
Pressure Is the Easy Part
Bores run 6.1–32.8 mm with outside diameters 11.6–44.6 mm. Working pressure is published at 13.8 bar maximum with a minimum burst of 55 bar — nothing exotic, because a cooling loop is a low-pressure system. What matters is that the rating holds across the full temperature range, not just at ambient.
Bend Radius Decides the Routing
Inside a rack the hose has to turn in a very small space, and the minimum bend radius is what makes that possible or impossible. It is published per size — 24.5 mm at the small end of the range — so the routing can be checked before the cabinet is built rather than discovered when the hoses arrive.
Mass and Load on the Coupling
Reference weight runs 0.13–0.7 kg/m. In a rack the hose is usually supported over a short span, so the mass is not a handling problem — but it is a load on the quick coupling. That is one reason the smaller bores dominate the manifold runs and the larger bores are kept short.
Temperature Window
The published working range is −40 °C to +120 °C. A cooling loop normally runs far inside that, but the upper end matters for failure cases: if a pump stops and the loop heat-soaks, the hose has to survive the excursion without hardening or deforming, because the loop will be brought back up afterwards.
Construction and Flame Rating
Inside a cabinet, the material choices are made for the environment the hose sits in — not for the coolant alone.
Tube and Cover: Black EPDM
Both the inner tube and the cover are black EPDM synthetic rubber. EPDM is chosen here because it is stable against the water-glycol mixtures used in cooling loops, it does not harden in the way some compounds do after long exposure, and it stays flexible at the low temperatures a shutdown can produce.
Reinforcement: 1 or 2 Layers of Synthetic Fibre Braid
Synthetic fibre braid rather than steel, in one or two layers depending on the size and rating. Fibre keeps the hose light and non-conductive — important when the hose is routed near power and signal cabling inside a rack — while still holding the published pressure and resisting the collapse a suction-side install would otherwise cause.
Cover Properties: Weather, Abrasion, Ozone, V0
The cover is specified as weather resistant, abrasion resistant and ozone resistant, with V0 flame retardancy. The flame rating is the one that matters most in a data hall: a hose running through a cabinet should not become the path a small fault travels along.
Metric and Inch Both Published
The specification table carries inch designations alongside the metric dimensions, so a loop laid out to either convention can be checked against the same table. That matters when a coupling standard is fixed by the manifold rather than by the hose: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and upward are all covered by published sizes.
Quick Couplings and Leak-Free Connections
Leak-free over ten years of thermal cycling is a connection problem, not a hose problem. The hose determines what the coupling has to do.
What Thermal Cycling Does to a Joint
A loop that heats and cools repeatedly works every joint on it. The hose has to hold its bore and its wall thickness so the compression on the fitting does not change with temperature — because a joint that loses preload is what starts a slow drip, and a slow drip inside a cabinet is a far bigger problem than a burst hose.
Supplied as Hose, or as a Finished Assembly
We supply the hose on its own, or crimped into an assembly with quick-connect couplings fitted and the finished length pressure-tested. Send the coupling standard your manifold uses, or a drawing or sample, and the assembly is built to that rather than to a nearest match.
Lengths and Routing Per Rack
Because bend radius, bore and mass are all published per size, a rack layout can be specified size by size instead of ordering one hose and cutting it on site. Cut lengths are made and crimped in our own plant, so the assembly arrives finished and tested rather than as hose plus loose fittings.
Trial Before Volume
Cooling loops are usually rolled out rack by rack or hall by hall. Trial lengths let one loop be built and run before the rest of the order is committed, and because the trial and the volume order come off the same lines, the second batch is the same construction as the first rather than a similar one.
